Chocolate Fudge Cake

This makes a big cake as it was from the Aga book.

Cake

20z Cocoa

6 tblsp Boiling water

5 Eggs

9oz Butter

9oz Caster sugar

10oz Self raising flour

3 tsp Baking powder

3 tbsp Milk

Make into a batter and put into a large greased and lined tray and cook for 30minutes at 180 C

8oz Apricot Jam

Warm and spread over the warm cake before icing

Icing

2oz Butter

2oz Cocoa

Melt the butter and stir in the cocoa and cook for 1 minute

12oz Icing Sugar – sifted

6 tblsp Milk

Add the milk and gradually stir in the icing sugar.

Spread over the cake.
