Braised Red Cabbage

Chop finely or grate:

1/2 Red cabbage

1-2 Onions

1-2 Cooking apples

Fry off the onions, add the cabbage and then the apples and remaining ingredients :

1 Cinnamon stick

pinch Nutmeg

Salt and Pepper

4 tblsp  Redwine

2 tblsp Vinegar (spiced/raspberry/balsamic/red wine)

1 tblsp Sugar

Mix and bring up to temperature then cooke in the oven for 1 hour at 140 C.
